Apparatus, a group exhibition curated by guest curator Adina Popescu, explored various forms of the "dispositif," what Foucault calls tools of mediation. The dispositif's aim is to invisibly transport hegemonic structures that determine our interpretation of reality. These tools can be: a wall, a camera lens, a mirror, light and sound. Every work in the exhibition, in its own specific way, prompted the viewer to reflect on their position in space, the constellation of gazes, as well as the imaginary aspects of our perception.
